Kaveh D. Khoobehi, MD
Dr. Khoobehi is a graduate of the LSU School of Medicine and completed both neurology and internal medicine internships at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. While a medical student at LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans, he received the Neurology Clerkship Outstanding Medical Student award. He also received the resident teaching award while at Tulane Medical Center.
Dr. Khoobehi treats patients suffering from a wide range of disorders, including headaches and migraines, concussion and traumatic brain injury, cognitive disorders, dementia, and seizure disorders. Dr. Khoobehi has extensive research experience in the areas of stroke, coma, seizure, and brain tumors. Healthcare is not his only expertise; Dr. Khoobehi is also fluent in Persian and Azerbaijani languages.
