Cherie D. Bragg, MD
I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Hospice and Palliative Care.
I am a native New Orleanian who graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School in 1986. After finishing my Bachelors of Science degree from Louisiana State University, I attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans and received my Doctorate of Medicine in 1994. I did my residency at LSU in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics from 1994-1998, serving as Chief Resident from 1997-1998. I joined the medical staff in 1998 and have been serving the Algiers area for over 20 years.
I have special interests in preventative medicine for adults and children, diabetes care, hypertension and end of life care.
I chose to practice primary care because I love caring for patients throughout their entire lives. I also love when multiple generations of the same family are under my care.
My little something extra is that I wear funny holiday hats during the holidays.
