“ Because of the kindness of families in their time of grief, we were able to enjoy the presence of a beautiful high spirited young lady much longer than ever expected.”

My niece was born with a liver disorder and was not expected to live past the age of 5 unless she underwent a liver transplant. Around the age of 6, her liver started to fail and she was placed on the transplant waiting list. She received a transplant and became an active young lady. She was involved in many activities, cheerleading was her favorite. During her late teen years, her liver started failing again and was placed on the transplant waiting list. She received a second transplant, which her body began rejecting and received a third transplant. Unfortunately, her body could not handle the third transplant. But because of the kindness of families in their time of grief, we were able to enjoy the presence of a beautiful high spirited young lady much longer than ever expected.
