Welcome to West Jefferson Medical Center. Whether you are a patient or visitor at our hospital, this page will provide you with helpful information that will make you time with us more convenient. With a fully stocked café, gift shop, and online patient portal, our hospital and staff are prepared to make your time at the hospital as easy and comfortable as possible. Valet Parking: Hours of service are 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, at $5 per vehicle. For moms-to-be and our special seniors 65 years and older, this service is offered as a complimentary gift.

Hours of operation:

  • Emergency Room: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Fast Track: 11:00am-11:00pm, 7 days a week
  • Outpatient Registration, Surgical Check-In & Direct Admissions: 5:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
  • Outpatient Lab: 6:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
  • Women’s Imaging and Breast Care Center: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
  • Physician Office Building Imaging Center: 6:00am – 11:00pm, Monday – Friday, and 8:00am – 12:30pm on Saturdays

Limitations on hospital visitation

A justified clinical restriction on a patient’s visitation rights may include, but need not be limited to one or more of the following:

  • a court order limiting or restraining contact
  • behavior presenting a direct risk or threat to the patient, staff or others in the immediate environment
  • behavior disruptive to the functioning of the patient care unit
  • reasonable limitations on the number of visitors at any one time
  • patient’s risk of infection by the visitor
  • visitor’s risk of infection by the patient
  • extraordinary protections because of a pandemic or infectious disease outbreak
  • substance abuse treatment protocols requiring restricted visitation
  • patient’s need for privacy or rest
  • need for privacy or rest by another individual in the patient’s shared
  • when a patient is undergoing a clinical intervention or procedure and the treating health care provider believes it is in the best interest of the patient to limit visitation during the clinical intervention or procedure
