    Joseph earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in the field of Kinesiology, concentrated in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He plans to continue his education and hopefully get in to a graduate school program for Physical Therapy. He enjoy playing basketball, golf, swimming, hiking and lifting weights all in his leisure time.

  • Annette GuilloryAnnette Guillory

    Annette has been involved in the fitness industry since 1992. Having worked in many different avenues of the fitness industry including group fitness, Pilates, and personal training, she has found that Pilates reformer and group fitness is truly her passion. Annette is certified with the American Council on Exercise as a Group Fitness Instructor/Personal Training and received her Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University. Annette has also earned certification as a Zumba, Pilates, Senior Fitness Specialty and Pilates Reformer Specialist. Annette enjoys helping people reach their full potential and succeed at reaching their fitness goals.

  • Janelle PerezJanelle Perez

    Dr. Janelle Perez has experience teaching children with all exceptionalities (autistic, deaf, blind, physically and mentally delayed) since 1982. Among swim lessons, she also teaches Aquacise, Yoga, Pilates, Spin, Line Dancing and Senior Group exercise class. Janelle began her second career here at the WJFC in 2006. She has a Doctorate in Education from the University of New Orleans. She also has a Master Water Fitness Instructor Certification and a Coordinator of Water Fitness Programs Certification from the USWFA; Water Safety Instructor Certification from the American Red Cross and a Personal Training Certification from AFAA. Janelle’s passion is promoting a healthy lifestyle for a better quality of life for all people, including those with special needs.

  • Benjamin RagozzinoBenjamin Ragozzimo

    Ben graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2003. He has 13 years of fitness experience training children and adults. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with NSCA since 2005. Ben has many fitness interests and has competed in multiple endurance events. He has used his knowledge of nutrition and strength training to achieve his own expected goals. Ben is willing to share his knowledge to help others improve quality of life and achieve fitness goals.

  • Rene ReedRene Reed

    Rene Reed was born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana where he attended St. Augustine High School. He attended Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Fitness Studies. Rene has over 20 years of martial arts experience which has contributed greatly to his passion for fitness. He specializes in weight loss and athletic conditioning.

  • Chandra TeddletonChandra Teddleton

    Her passion for dance and how the body moves started at the age of three and has continued to grow with her throughout her adult life. Chandra’s passion evolved from tap, ballet and modern dance to group fitness and personal training. She use’s fitness as a stress-reliever and inspirational tool for her life. She is currently certified in a vast array of fitness certifications that include: Personal Trainer, Group exercise instructor, Werq instructor and Yoga/Aerial yoga and Pilate’s instructor. She has a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in Political Science, two masters from the University of New Orleans and is currently finishing her doctorate in Planning at the University of New Orleans. “Fitness is not about being better than someone else; it’s about being better than you used to be.”

    Melissa is a member of the morning staff and has been part of the fitness team since 2005 . Sheattended Louisiana State University and is a certified personal trainer. Melissa enjoys being part of the fitness industry and is passionate about helping others attain their health and fitness goals, whether it is weight loss, training for competition in a sport or event, or increasing overall health and well-being. Melissa would love to help you obtain any fitness goals you may have through hard work and determination.
