Carlos Rodriguez-Fierro, MD is an interventional Cardiologist and serves as Medical Director of The Cardiology Center, LLC as well as President of Hispanic American Medical Association of Louisiana (HAMAL), he is also the founder and president of Doctors to the Rescue. Dr. Rodriguez has also served as President of Jefferson Parish Medical Society, Past President of The American College of Cardiology, and Board Member for Hearts of The Americas. He is currently serving as Board Member for the New Orleans Heritage Foundation as well. He has also served as Chief of Staff, West Jefferson Medical Center. Dr. Rodriguez was recently honored at the 2013 Louisiana State Medical Society Meeting of the House of Delegates.
Dr. Rodriguez-Fierro grew up in New York City and attended college and Medical School at the University of Miami. After finishing his Fellowship there in 1992, he moved to New Orleans and joined the Cardiology Center. He also served on the Board of the Hearts of the Americas, an organization that promotes cardiovascular medicine in underserved areas of Latin America.
Dr. Rodriguez is married and the Father of six children.
