Black & White

Your health and safety is our highest priority.

After careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, we are postponing Cheers to 60 Extraordinary Years – A Night in Black and White until October 8, 2021. Rescheduling our celebration event will enable us to provide the experience that our guests expect and deserve in a safe environment.

The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation remains excited to host you on October 8, 2021 to celebrate West Jefferson Medical Center’s 60th anniversary and to raise funds to support patient care at your community hospital.

On Friday, October 9, 2020, we will celebrate West Jefferson Medical Center’s 60th anniversary at the English Turn Country Club in New Orleans. This extraordinary cocktail reception will be an evening filled with lively music, delicious food, and exciting live and silent auctions in a grand effort to raise funds to benefit the Neurosciences Department.

The night is also dedicated to recognize Frank Culicchia, MD, the second recipient of the Frank C. Di Vincenti, MD Community Leadership Award. Learn more about this prestigious award that recognizes annually an individual for his or her excellence in leadership.

Our fundraising efforts will help fund much state-of-the-art surgical equipment known as the Deep Brain Stimulator (DBS), which will be used by West Jefferson neurosurgeons to assist hundreds of patients annually with movement disorders such as tremors, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and obsessive compulsive disorders. The DBS surgical procedure involves implanting electrodes to produce impulses that will regulate abnormal pulses in certain areas of the brain.
