New Chief Financial Officer Joins West Jefferson Medical Center

West Jefferson Medical Center announces the appointment of Daniel Riley, CPA as the new Chief Financial Officer. Riley joins us from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS), a medical center located in Little Rock, Arkansas. He brings more than 30 years of extensive experience in healthcare finance operations and management.

Riley most recently served as CFO at UAMS, where his primary responsibilities included financial planning, forecasting and budgeting for hospital-wide initiatives. He played a critical role in the implementation project of EPIC electronic medical record and billing systems within the 550-inpatient bed facility. Additionally, Riley was directly responsible for overseeing a $250 million expansion of hospital facilities including Operating Rooms, Radiology, Laboratory, ED and physician clinics.

He will complement our continued focus on improving the organization’s financial performance.” Riley plans to start with West Jefferson Medical Center (WJMC) on October 23, 2018.

Riley began his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant in the New Orleans office of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now known as Deloitte), and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans.
