The event is free. While all spaces have been filled, a waiting list is available should there be cancellations. Men’s health is important especially because of the unique health risks that men face. Prompt detection of medical needs can prevent the development of more problematic issues in the future. Early treatment can save lives.
Men are encouraged to discuss their health risks and preventative health screening needs with their physicians. “We’re gratified for the very positive response to our annual Men’s Health Day, Registered Nurse Vanessa Batson says. “While the Men’s Health Day is a special event, we also provide other educational offerings throughout the year including the wellness programs offered by the West Jeff Fitness Centers.” Pre-registrants are reminded to arrive between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
