Home is where our heart is

Welcome home to West Jefferson

West Jefferson Medical Center is our home, and our patients are the heart of what we do.

Through hurricanes and global health pandemics, West Jefferson remains your home-grown hospital built for the Westbank. In light of COVID-19, we’ve evolved our operations to continue keeping our patients and staff safe.

Home is where our heart is

We pledge to defend our home and to ensure the legacy of award-winning quality for our patients, their families, and for our staff. Cancer, heart disease, surgery- none of that stops, not even for a pandemic. Hear from our physicians how they continue to provide care to their patients in a safe and healing environment.

Our patients are the heart of what we do. Hear first-hand from patients that received care during these trying times and the message of hope they bring to our community.

Cancer, heart disease, surgery—none of that stops, not even for a pandemic. Meet our dream team who is working together to create a safe place to deliver care:

Protecting our home

We all know that COVID-19 will remain within our community for quite some time, but with social distancing and infection prevention measures, we can reduce the risk of spread. As you enter our hospital for care, things may look a little different, but everything we do is to care for our patients and community. Here’s what you can expect.

  • Every employee in our hospital and clinics is masked for your protection.
  • Every employee who enters our hospital and clinics receive a temperature check.
  • We have active visitor restrictions in place for our hospital and clinics to limit the number of individuals in each facility.
  • Masks are provided to patients upon arrival and must be worn throughout visit.
  • All office furniture and medical equipment is thoroughly sanitized and cleaned before and after use.
  • All waiting rooms are reorganized to encourage social distancing.
  • Reduced wait times and spacing out of appointments for ER check in and clinic appointments

A strong foundation

The dedication of the West Jefferson family and the support we’ve receive from our community, has been extraordinary. Join us in continuing to support the Westbank’s home hospital.
