2016 West Jeff Family Fest
The 7th West Jeff Family Fest is better than ever! The Festival kicks off on Friday, October 14 at 5pm!
Amusement rides will once again be part of the fun and will be available for your enjoyment on both days.
The Festival is FREE and open to all!
On Friday, October 14, the festivities kick-off at 5pm. Junior & Sumtin’ Sneaky will be rocking out and hitting the stage from 6-8:30pm and families can enjoy a myriad of
amusement rides and games. Enjoy great food and drinks. From 9-11pm, enjoy the music of Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition. Car enthusiasts can enjoy a
Cruise Night from 5-11pm.
On Saturday, October 15, the 3rd annual “I Pink I Can” 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk,
begins at 8am. Cancer survivors, their loved ones and the community are invited to take part in this exciting race that helps raise funds for the
Cancer Center at West Jefferson Medical Center. We’re asking runners and walkers to
wear their most outrageous pink outfits. Guys, that means you too!!! Be sure to sign-up at www.wjmc.org/FunRun
or register in-person at the West Jeff Fitness Centers at Terrytown or Marrero. Following the Fun Run/Walk, race participants can enjoy
complimentary Zatarain’s jambalaya, bananas and water.
Austin Sicard and the Medics will hit the stage from 10-11:30am, followed by
MoJEAUX from Noon-3pm. The
Aaron Foret Band will hit the stage from 3:30-6:30pm. Topping off the night will be
The Topcats from 7-10pm.
You'll also have a revved-up good time at our Car & Bike Show on Saturday, October 15 beginning at Noon and
running until 5:30pm. In addition, we’ll have a Kid Zone with inflatables, kid's costume contest, trunk or
treat, raffles, door prizes and much more.
Food will be served by various vendors and the beverages will be sold by the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation.
Please join us and enjoy the sights and sounds of the 2016 West Jeff Family Fest. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Cancer Center at
West Jefferson Medical Center to help cancer patients with various needs such as: transportation, nutrition, support groups and survivorship programs.
